Mexico Motorcycle Insurance
Whether solo or with a group of friends, traveling Mexico by motorcycle is a welcome
adventure. Thousands have done so, especially after becoming popularized on a U.S.
T.V. Special!
Now it is even easier to travel Mexico by Motorcycle because it is now easier to
obtain the necessary insurance for your bike(s)!
There are some restrictions for this particular market, but wouldn’t affect the
majority of riders. So even if you already own your bike, or if still making payments,
we can help you by providing peace of mind by insuring your bike with the very Best

We represent ACE Seguros, a well known insurer for Motorcycle Insurance in Mexico.
Following are a few of the plans highlights.
- Full Coverage Plans available, up to $ 30,000 Bikes A.C.V. (actual cash value).

- Liability Only policies that still provide all the extras needed for Mexico travel
- Policies can be issued by the Day, Semi-Annual (6 months) or Annually
- Choice of Liability Limits

- The Platinum Endorsement is available (not available for ATVs, ATCs, and Dune Buggies)
NOTE: Motorcycles with Side Cars are not eligible for coverage. In addition,
there is no Medical Coverage or Medical Payments for any driver/operator or passenger
of your motorcycle. Motorcycles used in racing or competition, or that are manufactured
as non street legal for highways or roads is ineligible for coverage. Physical Damage,
Total Theft, Medical Expenses, Bail Bond and Legal Assistance, for ATVs, ATCs, and
Dune Buggies are ineligible, except while being towed, by the primary vehicle.
If you are towing your motorcycle behind your vehicle, then you
will require two separate policies. Your bike, & trailer if applicable, must
be listed on the primary vehicles policy. You also must list the Motorcycle if hauling
it in the bed of a pickup. You do not, by law, have to insure it for Full Coverage
while it is being towed, as the Liability Insurance automatically extends to the
listed items being towed.
If your Motorcycle is being towed, then you must have a separate
policy for the Bike. You may choose a Liability Only or a Full Coverage Policy,
based upon the underwriting guidelines of the insurance company. The on-line application
will follow.
If you are still making payments on your Motorcycle, then your
Lien Holder will require or request that you name them on your policy, especially
if you need their “Letter of Permission” to acquire the “Motorcycle Permit” for
traveling into the interior of Mexico. Provide them a copy and simply request the
“Letter of Permission” . Once you get into the application process, you will see
just how easy we have made it for you…
Since Medical Coverage is not available to Drivers or Passengers,
you might want to check out our remarkable International Medical coverage at the
end of the application process. It generally runs a few bucks a day, and also provides
coverage while not riding for illness or injury.
